i have tried the 500gb and the 1tb models of
"the my dvr expander". i wanted them to work so
badly you have no idea. first off, i will say
that i am using a scientific atlanta hd dvr with
time warner cable. i have been thru 3 500gb models
and 1 of the 1 tb models.
set up and installation is a snap. i follow the directions
exactly as they state and everything works great, the problems
always start to occur after the install. only a part of a show
will be recorded/the dvr functions start to slow down/the box starts
to freeze and has to be re-set/it is just one thing after another.
i have finally given up, i tried and hoped, but the dvr just can't seem
to work with the dvr expander. i hope others have better luck!
